This exhibition commemorates the artistry of Emily Kam Kngwarray, an influential Australian First Nation artist. Her reputation as one of Australia's most significant artists soared after her introduction to the Australian contemporary art scene in the early 1990s. Despite Kngwarray's relatively short eight-year painting career, she had previously spent eleven years working with Batik, which heavily influenced her painting style.
